In ~6 hours, Carrie W. will arrive from Urbana with her arsenal of keyboards in tow (hopefully not that jumbo amplifier, as it would be unnecessary and difficult to get down the stairs), and with we’ll get down to business with our EP.  While I foresee the finished product not seeing the light of day for a couple of weeks – notorious as I am for tinkering and holding up the show with incessant worrying and tweaking – we’ll hopefully get everything tracked (my least favorite part of making recorded music) and ready for some mixing and studio tomfoolery (my most favorite part of making recorded music).

So be on the lookout in the next month or so for a four to five track EP from Conceal and Carry entitled Better Science.  I’m sure some pictures are going to end up here or there.  After this is over, she’ll finally know the horrors of Farmington, MO, and potentially have a little bit of insight into how and why all of us from this town ended up so weird (and alcoholic).

In other news, I am (hopefully) moving out of this penal colony really soon, and in with some real cool dudes.  Spring has sprung!
